Everson Hired as Head Volleyball Coach

The Blake Athletic Department is excited to announce Tori Everson as our Head Volleyball Coach.

Tori is excited for the opportunity to go from assistant for Blake volleyball to being the leader of the program. She spent a previous season being an assistant coach at University of Minnesota Morris, where she played and earned her degree. Tori also had been the head coach at Crossfire, Fusion, and MACA JO Volleyball.

Though coaching is her passion now, Tori excelled at the collegiate level as a player. She was a four year letter winner and a three year starter at UMN- Morris. In those three years as a starter, Tori earned All UMAC honors.

Tori resides in Crystal and is the Assistant Director of Sport for the National Sports Center in Blaine. She enjoys reading, watching movies, and spending time with friends and family

Tori, “Even though I've graduated and moved on from being an athlete, I’ve stayed involved with Volleyball through playing and coaching. Throughout my years of coaching, I’ve gained valuable coaching experiences that only strengthened my desire to continue. My goal is to help the girls become well-rounded individuals on the court, in the community and in the classroom while instilling a culture that is welcoming, hard-working, and exciting. There are so many lessons to learn through volleyball and I hope that they all find love for the game and value in being a part of something bigger than themselves. I am very passionate about the game and I can’t wait to share that with Blake Volleyball.  I’m looking forward to leading the program! " Go Bears!”

Please join us in welcoming Tori Everson as the new Blake Volleyball Head Coach.
