BBG 2025 Champs

The Bears delivered a dominant performance at the IMAC Championship, securing their 10th consecutive IMAC title with a decisive 15-stroke victory. Their strong play on May 12th propelled them to an initial two-stroke lead. Senior All-State golfer Ian Friederichs set the pace with an even-par 71 at River Oaks on day one. The Bears then surged ahead on day two at River Oaks, carding impressive scores to widen their lead. Once again, Senior Captain Ian Friederichs led the charge with a 1-under-par 70, matched by an equally impressive 1-under-par 70 from ninth grader George Mark.

Support the Boys Golf team as they compete in the Section 4AA tournament on May 28th at Francis A. Gross Golf Club.

Blake Athletics’ mission is to help all students live up to their full potential – and give them experiences they will cherish forever. Sports are a great educational experience, teaching students to persevere, lead, work with teammates and achieve. Upon entering 7th grade, students become eligible for organized sports. All Upper School students play on a team for at least one season in grade nine and grade ten, building confidence, self-discipline and leadership skills. Students choose among dozens of athletic programs. Each head coach stays closely involved with athletes at every level. We also operate on a “no-cut” policy. Students’ team placement is based on their skill level, but no student is ever denied the opportunity to participate in the sport of his or her choice.
