The Blake Baseball team battled through the tough spring weather and some untimely injuries. Big wins this year included Providence (IMAC Champs), a sweep over rival Breck, and a walk off win versus AAA ranked Holy Angels. In the playoffs, Blake defeated Maranatha in the first round but couldn't get it going on offense much after that. A great season considering all they had to overcome.

The Blake Bears softball team struggled with the late spring, like most spring sports at Blake, as they didn't get their first game in until April 26th. Though it was a struggle getting started the Bears won their first 4 games of the season. Their biggest win was a 20-5 drubbing they put on IMAC Champs Providence Academy. The Bears earned a 10 seed in section 5AA but lost in a single elimination game verse Glencoe Silver Lake. All but 2 Seniors return to the lineup in 2019.
