2018 Spring Sports Summary

By Blake Athletic Department, 06/28/18, 3:00PM CDT

The Blake Baseball team battled through the tough spring weather and some untimely injuries.  Big wins this year included Providence (IMAC Champs), a sweep over rival Breck, and a walk off win versus AAA ranked Holy Angels.   In the playoffs, Blake defeated Maranatha in the first round but couldn't get it going on offense much after that.  A great season considering all they had to overcome.

Hitchner, a Pepperdine commit, finished his incredible six year high school career by finishing in second place in the Class AA State Tournament, losing by one stroke.
