The Bears endured some rough skiing conditions as they competed in the IMAC Nordic Championships at Elm Creek Preserve in Maple Grove on Tuesday 1/30. The windchill was -13 and unbearable to those their supporting their respective schools.

The Bears boys skiers finished 5th only three points behind Breck for the 4th spot overall. Senior Max Owens led the way for the Bears with a 6th place individual finish which earned him All Conference honors. Another Senior Emmet Whitely placed 14th individually and that earned him All Conference Honorable. 

The Bears girls skiers finished 6th but only had three skiers participate due to injuries. Senior Lexi Fine led the girls team finishing 31st individually while ninth graders Linnea Krig and Ella Johnson took 41st and 42nd respectively.

Look for the Bears to compete next at the IMAC mixed relays on February 12th at Battle Creek.
