The Blake Girls Soccer Team won big in their home opener at Gordy Aamoth Stadium on Tuesday night by defeating Tartan High School by a score of 7-0.
The Bears had five players who recorded multi-point games and senior Lucia Warner recorded her first shutout of the season. Junior Maddie Tix led the Bears with two goals and one assist. Others with muli-point games were freshman Cate Moe (two goals), junior Morgan Phillips (one goal and one assist), junior Jade Sund (one goal and one assist), and freshman Bailey Abraham (two assists). Senior Sara McClanahan also added one goal for the Bears.
Blake Girls Soccer is back in action Thursday, August 31st as they travel to Benilde-St. Maragaret's for a 5:00pm kickoff.
