At the Class A State Track Meet on Friday evening, Jaimi Salone and Cameron Downey placed 1st and 2nd in the Girls Discus event. Downey threw a 130-11, which was 11 inches further than last years State Title throw. She finished in 2nd place, as her teammate set a new State Record.  Salone threw 150-08.  The previous State Record of 154 set in 1994.
