Coach Hoiness is currently a PGA Player Development Professional at The Minikahda Club in Minneapolis.  At Minikahda, he is heavily involved in teaching and instruction amongst other administrative duties.  Coach Hoiness has greatly expanded the junior golf program at the club, including adding junior tees, clinic programs, a junior club championship and junior certification and continuing education.  Coach Hoiness conducts over 500 private lessons annually including ladies, seniors, men and juniors.  He also assists in the training over over 100 caddies each year.

Coach Hoiness is excited to take on the responsibility of the golf program at Blake.  His experience in the business of golf, golf instruction and knowledge of the game will allow him to effectively coach and develop Blake golfers of all abilities.  “We are thrilled to add Coach Hoiness to our staff,” stated Athletic Director Nick Rathmann.  “He hails from a great club with a storied tradition and I love that his goals are not only to meet, but exceed expectations.”

Coach Hoiness earned an Associates Degree in Applied Business with emphasis on Golf Management from the San Diego Golf Academy in Phoenix, Arizona.  Please join us in welcoming Coach Marshall Hoiness to the Blake community.
