Coach Belk

[Minneapolis, MN] – A Minnesota native, Coach Belk brings an impressive resume of coaching experience at the collegiate and international levels, along with a deep passion for developing student-athletes in and out of the pool.

Coach Belk most recently served as the Assistant Women’s Swimming and Diving Coach at Purdue University, where she coached multiple NCAA qualifiers, Olympians, and Paralympic medalists. During her time at Purdue, she played a key role in developing standout athletes including Paralympic gold medalist Evan Austin, Olympian Jinq En Phee, and U.S. Olympic Trials finalist Kaersten Meitz.

Her coaching career began at the University of Minnesota, where she served as a volunteer assistant during the 2011–12 season while earning her master’s degree in elementary education. That season, the Gophers captured the Big Ten Championship and placed 15th at the NCAA Championships.

In 2017, Molly became the Head Coach of both the men’s and women’s programs at Manhattan College, making her the youngest Division I female head coach of a combined program at the time. Under her leadership, the Jaspers broke 25 school records in just one season.

As an athlete herself, Coach Belk swam for the University of Minnesota where she was a two-time team captain, an NCAA qualifier, and a three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree. She also earned the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award as a senior—exemplifying the leadership and character she now brings to her coaching role.

We are excited for Coach Belk to lead our girls swimming and diving program into its next chapter and can’t wait to see the positive impact she’ll have on our student-athletes and the greater community.

Please join us in welcoming Coach Molly Belk to the team!
