The Bears spent the last few days competing in the Wood City Classic in Cloquet, MN. On Wednesday (12/27) the played the host team Cloquet Lumberjacks. The Lumberjacks narrowly defeated the Bears with a last second 3 pointer that gave them a 70-69 victory. The Bears were led by Freshmen Cate Moe who scored 29 points to lead all scorers for the game. 

Blake followed up the tough loss with a strong 72-23 win over Fond du Lac Ojibwe. Junior Robbie Grace led the way with 21 points and 12 rebounds while Cate Moe added another great game to her resume with 15 points and 8 rebounds. 

The Bears ended 2017 with a 4-5 record while playing all but one of those games on the road. They look to start the New Year off right with two games next week.
