Blake Bears Cross Country team had their section 4A competition at Battle Creek Regional Park. Though the weather was tough for spectators all competitors persevered. 

Blake boys finished 7th overall and the girls team came in 5th.

The boys top runner for the meet was Shef West (8th grade). Shef finished 23rd overall in the tough weather conditions.

On the girls side, Jackie Weyerhaeuser (9th grade) has successfully qualified for the state tournament for the third straight year. Molly Liston (8th grade) missed qualifying for the state tournament by two spots but ran an incredible race.
