The Blake Bears Boys Golf Team is playing some of its best golf at  the right time. The Bears, two-time defending Class AA State Champions, and five-time Section champions made a statement by posting a two day total of 284-286-570 at River Oaks Golf Course in Cottage Grove, Mn to claim the Section 4AA crown. Their score was good for a 47 stroke victory over Section 4AA runner-up Totino-Grace.  Derek Hitchner finished as the individual champion with a 68-65-133 (-9). Reece Sanders finished in 2nd place with a 68-68-136 (-6), Ian Murray finished in 4th place with a 75-73-148 (+6), and Campbell Morrisson finished in 7th place with a 73-80-153 (+11). Rounding out the Blake Section Championship team was Peter Gullickson and Sam Gelb who posted matching 78-84-162 (+20). 

The Bears will compete at the Class AA State Tournament at The Ridges at Sand Creek in Jordan, Mn on June 13th-14th.
