We are particularly proud to have established ourselves as one of the premier boys' lacrosse programs in the state of Minnesota. The Blake School Boys' Lacrosse team has had multiple appearances in state title games which include winning back to back MBSLA state titles in 2005 and 2006, and the MSHSL title in 2008.  Among other notable highlights the program has produced numerous National H.S. All-American selections. Recent alumni have gone on to play collegiately at both the Division I and Division III levels.

Our lacrosse program is in part, designed to promote enthusiasm for the sport and desire among the players to strive for excellence. We place great emphasis on the importance of team-building, unselfish play, and striving for continued improvement. Our goal is to develop the skill set of each individual player, to instill life lessons and be able to achieve academic success while fielding the most competitive team possible. We ask our players to consider their commitment first and most importantly to their teammates. We also expect the highest level of sportsmanship from our athletes, and will conduct ourselves with class on and off of the field. Our goal continues to be teaching lacrosse within a fun and competitive environment to provide players with the knowledge to be successful on and off the field in the future.

The Blake Boys’ Lacrosse Program consists of a Varsity, Junior Varsity and a Middle School team. Each level of the program is open to all interested students, which hold daily practices and full game schedules. Our Varsity and JV schedules are comprised of in-conference and out of conference opponents. We play a very competitive schedule which consists of games against the state's strongest programs. As a staff, we believe that not only does a demanding schedule allow for growth from a student athlete during participation on the field, but it also allows for the players own self discovery when met with the task of overcoming adversity.
